About Us

We are an independent registered 501(c) non-profit religious organization, formerly Gokul Bhajan & Vedic Studies, dedicated to cultivating rāgānugā-bhakti and loving service to Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī and Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa.

Who We Are

Gokul Bhavan Gauḍīya Maṭha follows the teachings of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu in the line of the Six Gosvāmīs of Vṛndāvana, under the Śrī Brahma-Madhva-Gauḍīya Sampradāya. We are an independent organization and are not affiliated with or controlled by any other institution.

Our purpose is to help sincere seekers, devotees, families, and communities cultivate rāgānugā-bhakti centered on loving service to Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa, under the guidance of Śrī Guru and the Gauḍīya guru-paramparā. Through our programs, devotees of all ages and stages of life are supported in deepening their sādhana, Vaiṣṇava character, and spiritual understanding. The seven foundational pillars of this path are presented in our Kṛṣṇa-bhakti page.

Through regular classes, weekly global programs, satsaṅgas, children and youth enrichment, devotional media, book distribution, spiritual counseling, and service opportunities, we seek to create an environment where devotees can deepen faith, strengthen sādhana, develop Vaiṣṇava character, and progress toward the ultimate goal of life: pure loving service to Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa.

A major part of our service is reaching those who need spiritual encouragement, guidance, and hope. Our prison ministry serves hundreds of prisons and many participating inmates, bringing transformation through books, correspondence, devotional programs, and personal care. Gokul Bhavan also supports devotional arts, translations, multimedia teachings, software and mobile app development for devotional education, and outreach programs across India, the United States, Nigeria, and beyond.
