Ekādaśī Cheese Biscuits

Ingredients

  • Tapioca flour
  • Baking soda
  • Salt
  • Butter
  • Milk
  • Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. 1. Melt butter in a bowl.
  2. 2. Mix all ingredients together into a thick paste.
  3. 3. Form into 1½-inch balls and place on a baking tray.
  4. 4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for approximately 30 minutes until golden.

Ekādaśī Gauranga Potato

Ingredients

  • Medium potatoes
  • Butter
  • Sour cream
  • Rosemary powder
  • Ekādaśī hing (asafoetida)
  • Turmeric

Instructions

  1. 1. Boil potatoes until just tender, then drain and slice.
  2. 2. Layer sliced potatoes in a baking pan.
  3. 3. Melt butter and mix in rosemary powder, ekādaśī hing, turmeric, and sour cream to make the sauce.
  4. 4. Pour sauce over potatoes and bake uncovered at 350°F (175°C) for 30-40 minutes.

Ekādaśī Buckwheat Chocolate Muffins

Ingredients

  • Buckwheat flour
  • Butter
  • Milk
  • Chocolate powder (cocoa)
  • Brown sugar / jaggery
  • Ground coconut or banana
  • Baking soda

Instructions

  1. 1. Combine all ingredients and mix into a thin, pourable batter.
  2. 2. Pour into greased muffin trays, filling each about ¾ full.
  3. 3. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-30 minutes until a skewer comes out clean.
